As for HR, my comment has been verified by several HR professionals. This book was not written to foster pessimism, but to provide readers with the straight facts so they might take effective action. Truth is not always pretty, but it is vital if you are going to base life-changing decisions on it. :)
Think of this book as career advice with no sugar coating whatsoever. I wrote it so you and many others might enjoy a more productive and happier career with a team that deserves you.
